BURBERRY

The success story began in 1856 when Thomas Burberry opened his first store in Basingstoke, Hampshire. From the gabardine fabric that he had invented he tailored a robust coat for soldiers in the First World War. This is how the trench coat was born. This was followed by the famous Burberry check pattern, registered as a trademark in 1920. Today, BURBERRY offers different collections for men and women: "Burberry Prorsum" (catwalk collection), "Burberry London" (mainline and traditional business wear), "Burberry Brit" (young and casual second-line) and "Burberry Sport" (sporty casual wear). In addition to accessories and fragrances there is also a children's collection.
